This year, you can double the return on your time investment: the I3A 63rd Annual Conference will be co-located with the 6Sight Future of Imaging Conference , in beautiful Monterey, California. The I3A Annual Conference will take place November 9-10 and the 6Sight Future of Imaging Conference will take place November 10-12.

Day One: Welcome Reception along with the Presentation of the Achievement and Safety Awards
6:00 - 8:00pm
The opening reception offers valuable networking opportunities with decision-makers and technology leaders from every area of the imaging industry.
The I3A Achievement Award annually recognizes, encourages and celebrates outstanding accomplishment by an individual who has provided significant contributions to the advancement or growth of the imaging industry, through participation in I3A in either Standards and Initiatives or Advocacy.
Since it was started ten years ago, the I3A Safety Excellence Award Program has been recognized outstanding occupational safety and health programs among our member companies. At the Annual Conference, awards will be based on the prior year’s performance. Members are encouraged to submit their companies for this awards program by completing the
application form.
Day Two: Emerging Technologies and Dinner with Guest Photographer
8:45am - 9:00pm
The I3A Annual Conference general sessions will:
- Take an in-depth look at emerging technologies such as geo-tagging, 3D imaging and GigaPan images
- Explore new and existing challenges within the imaging industry
- Look at how to leverage social networking uses of imaging
- Investigate the latest in Mobile Imaging; Camera Phone Image Quality and Visual Search/Object recognition
- Engage in discussions designed to formulate actionable steps to turn industry challenges into success
- Explore standards strides being made in Image Permanence and Photo Books
At the end of the day, I3A likes to offer attendees an opportunity to take a break from technology and enjoy the artistry of photography. Thus, we offer attendees the privilege of an evening with an esteemed professional photographer.
