I3A Leadership Award
Awarded annually since 1989, I3A's Leadership Award was instituted to recognize those individuals in the international imaging community who have exhibited the exemplary qualities and innovative vision of a leader.
It is bestowed upon those who have exercised leadership traits that we all admire and strive for: judgment, imagination, knowledge, skill, hard work, initiative, decisiveness, loyalty and courage, to name a few.
This year's prestigious award was presented to Atsushi "Andy" Kodera, President, Kyocera Sanyo Telecom, Inc. To view previous recipients of Leadership Award, click here. An engraved crystal Captain's decanter – a symbol of leadership – is given to each awardee.

Safety Excellence Awards
The Safety Excellence Awards program was established to recognize occupational and health activities among the Association’s member companies. The awards, which are presented annually, are given to I3A company sites that demonstrate the highest levels of safety performance and leadership. The major purpose of the awards is to assist member companies in bringing about sustainable improvement in all areas of health and safety in the workplace.
The "Best in Class" awards recognize the companies with the safest workplaces, as determined by injury and illness case rates for the year, in four different areas: manufacturing, warehousing, R&D/administrative, and photo finishing. The company in each category that meets all the I3A Safety Excellence Awards Program criteria and has the lowest OSHA Recordable Incidence (ORI) with the most hours worked during the calendar year is recognized as being best in its class among I3A member companies.
